HireSafe is proud of the long-term relationships we maintain with our clients. They've come to depend on the quality and efficiency of our service. And they rely on our people - from customer service to technical support to compliance, our people are always finding new ways to meet each company's unique employment screening needs. For these reasons, we think of ourselves as a resource for employment screening and hope you view us that way as well. Begin with reading What Employers Need to Know.

Personal privacy issues are foremost in the employment screening industry as regulatory bodies issue rulings and legislation designed to protect consumers' rights. HireSafe and all responsible employment screening companies must adhere to these regulations, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), the the Equal Employment Opportunities Commission (EEOC), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) among others.

compliance trainingThe FCRA is the most significant regulation guiding employment screening. As a courtesy to our clients and visitors, HIRE-SAFE provides an overview of the FCRA to address the requirements related to the employment background checking process. It is imperative that all employers follow the guidelines established in the FCRA.

This synopsis is provided strictly as guidance and is not intended as legal advice or as a sole educational tool for the employer's staff. Please consult your legal counsel for specific guidance. Employers retain the responsibility to understand the FCRA and educate their staff whom are involved in the screening process to protect the rights of the applicant. Hiring Compliance Training and Sexual Harassment Training are available from HireSafe. Contact us for detailed information.

For a full copy of the FCRA and other useful information, be sure to visit the FTC's Web site. Here are various types of the available compliance information:
